Lenten Appeal

As a Result of the Lenten Appeal, we have received a check for over $7,000 which is being forwarded to Saint Charles Borromeo School in Harlem. Thanks to all of our parishioners who made this possible! If you would still like to participate, please use the brochure available at the Information Center.

A Respect Life Committee is now forming. The group will meet once a month to organize/plan/participate in Respect Life activities in our community. Our mission is to address in an integrated fashion all life issues, from capital punishment and euthanasia to abortion. If you are interested or need more information, please contact the Parish office.
Parish Picnic Volunteers are needed to help with the children's games. An hour of your time is all that is needed. Please call Tammy O'Connor (301-696-0378) or Patty Conner (301-694-6305) if interested.

James 1:22 "Be doers of the word and not hearers only, deluding yourselves."

Fr. KeithOur Faith Formations programs will be starting up again next month. Because it takes some time to order books and recruit catechists for these programs, please be so kind as to return your registrations forms as soon as possible. We need to know how many people are participating so that we can be adequately prepared to start in just a few weeks. Thanks for your cooperation!
Speaking of Faith Formation, we just received this note from the mother of one of our Sunday morning Kate's Kids! participants: "We were on our way home from Mass today and our daughter was showing us the fish she made at Kate's Kids. We asked her why she made it and at first she gave us her usual reply of "I don't know" and then I asked if she had heard a story. She proceeded to retell the whole story about Jesus and the loaves and the fishes and the "thousands and thousands" of people who were there that Jesus fed! She really seemed to absorb the More Fr.
