Dear Friends in Christ,

During this time of social distancing (to help deter the spread of the Coronavirus), our everyday routines are often interrupted and our regular relationships become more difficult to maintain.  A feeling of isolation can develop, especially among the more senior members of our faith community who often live alone.

As we are prohibited at the moment from assembling as a faith community for worship, I will be trying to keep in contact through e-mail on a regular basis during this unsettling time.  If you are a senior member of our parish who has some particular need, especially if you are living alone, please feel free to contact our Pastoral Associate Theresa Anderson, theresa.anderson@saintdrexel.org.  She coordinates our outreach to parishioners through our Caring Connections ministries, and is also in contact with our Knights of Columbus who have offered their service to parishioners who are in need of some personal assistance (shopping, transportation, etc.)

Because no one came to Mass this weekend to pick up a copy of the parish bulletin, I’m attaching a copy of the bulletin here to keep in touch.  Please understand that many things have been cancelled due to State of Maryland and Archdiocesan regulations which occurred after the bulletin was printed.  The next copy of the bulletin (which I will send next week) will reflect all the cancellation information.

Let us continue to pray for one another and for all the people of our world… and stay healthy!

Sincerely,

Fr. Keith
