Happy Easter Tuesday!

The great thing about Easter is that it isn’t a day, it is a whole season!  As we continue this first week of the Easter Season, I would like to bring your attention to three things…

First, if you missed our kick-off of Coffee and Zoom, no fear… we will be back THIS Sunday at 12noon with what you have been missing…. the fellowship, not the caffeine!  Our first gathering brought together about 30 parishioners, and I would love to see us double that this weekend!  So, grab a “cuppa” and join us for some time to connect, to share, and to commiserate on the current state of affairs.  Check you email for the Zoom access, or contact Brian McCrohan.

Second, the Frederick Community Action Agency is hard at work providing for our neighbors who find themselves in need during this crisis.  Again, you are encouraged to bring your non-perishable food donations for the food bank to our parish office from 10AM-3PM seven days a week, but if you would prefer supporting this local effort from the comfort and safety of your own home you can donate money to their work online at Friends for Neighborhood Progress (make a note for “FOODBANK”).

Lastly… the show must go on!  Our next baptism preparation class will be held this Sunday via Zoom.  If you have a child you wish to present for baptism when the current crisis is over, please email me to be added to the list for this Sunday’s baptism class.

On a personal note, I miss seeing you, getting to hear (in person) about your Easter celebrations and particularly seeing the joy of our Catechumens getting baptized at the Easter Vigil.  Please continue to hold them in your prayers as they wait for their chance to join us fully through the sacraments of initiation.

Blessings,

Brian McCrohan
