My Fellow Parishioners,

Here’s another bit of silliness from me, with a touch of seriousness at the end, that you can view here.

As announced by Father Keith last week, Saint Katharine Drexel will soon be celebrating public Masses, after a hiatus of three months, on 13/14 June.  Below are links to two videos that the Archdiocese has created that review the guidelines for Phase II of the reopening plan.  These videos have been distributed through Email to parishioners and on past Katharine Konnection emails.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNIJVIgDYrk&feature=youtu.be – What to Expect when you return to Mass

While these videos provide guidance, each parish will have nuances that require a customization of the guidelines.  Look for the Saint Katharine Drexel specific guidelines to come out next week to help you prepare for returning to public Mass, if you so choose.

Re-opening will involve new volunteer opportunities that include the check-in of attendees as they arrive, guiding parishioners to their seats and cleaning the pews and other surfaces after Masses.  If you are willing and able to assist in these areas, please send me an email.

Blessings to you and your families,

Pat O’Connor
