Pentecost at St Hubert’s Ennery Haiti

Our sister parish, Saint Hubert in Ennery, Haiti, celebrates the Solemnity of Pentecost and First Communions.  Here we share in the Entrance Procession. These girls in white robes are a part of the liturgical dance group of the parish.  Note the First Communion children dressed and ready to participate in this great event.

The Entrance Hymn is:

The Spirit of God rests on me.

The Spirit of God has consecrated me.

The Spirit of God has sent me to proclaim his peace, his joy.

The Spirit of God has chosen me.

To extend the Kingdom of Christ among the nations.

To proclaim the Good News to his poor..

I rejoice in God, my Savior!

The congregation is then welcomed by one of the girls who greets them:

“Reverend Father, Reverend Sister, Dear Communicants, Beloved Brothers and Sisters.  Good morning!

Happy Solemnity of Pentecost!

Please share in the joy of the Resurrection & Pentecost with our brothers and sisters in Haiti.  Please keep them in your prayers during these difficult times of COVID and political unrest.

Thank you
