       The Katharine Konnection

Important Update on church sanitizing at Saint Katharine Drexel:

You may remember that a year ago, through the generosity of Vytis Shield, a sanitization company in Cockeysville, our church building was treated with a coating that provides over 99% reduction in bio-burden (i.e. – germs) on all surfaces.   When a germ hits the coating, it dies.  This is the same solution that is used in operating rooms.  Every room of the church was treated including the nave, narthex, classrooms, and restrooms.  Every surface, including pews, door handles, sinks, toilets and counters had been sprayed.

Well, through the continued generosity of Vytis Shield, the church was treated again this week.  This means our church is now protected for another year.

This helps us to do our part in keeping our parish community safe.  See you at Mass!
