Third Sunday of Easter

Apr 14, 2024

You’ll notice that we are currently at 69% of goal for the Annual Appeal for Catholic Ministries.  We designate funds from our rebate to assist Saint Michael’s Indian School (in Arizona) and the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament– both of whom were founded by our patron Saint Katharine Drexel—as well as funding our own parish immigrant outreach.  If your envelope is still on your desk at home, please help us reach our goal!  Envelopes are also available at the Welcome Center and in the Parish Office.

Our Eucharistic Revival Night is coming up on Friday 26 April offering an opportunity to deepen your relationship with Christ.  Please sign up if you plan to attend using the information in the bulletin.

I draw your attention to the fact that our rain gardens are in need of some additional human beings to keep them organized and at their peak of beauty.  These rain gardens are designed to filter the rain water run-off from our church roof and parking lots and require periodic attention throughout the growing season.  Please consult the contact info that is provided elsewhere in the bulletin. This would be a great family project to spend some time together.

The proceeds from our Gift Card program are currently going to help fund the development of our new Memorial Garden.  A form in the bulletin this weekend facilitates your springtime order of gift cards, which can be used as gifts for Mother’s and Father’s Day, graduations, birthdays, etc.  Many thanks to Kathryn Welty and all the volunteers at our gift card table in the narthex each weekend.

Amanda Parker celebrated the Initiation Sacraments (along with Jacob Wagemann) at the Easter Vigil this year and offered an inspiring testimony that evening.  We have reproduced it in this bulletin this weekend in case you were not there.
