Strengthened by the Holy Spirit
In Confirmation, baptized youth are strengthened by the Holy Spirit for the challenges of living as Christian disciples. Confirmation completes the graces of Baptism and perfects the common priesthood of the baptized.
High school aged youth who are baptized are invited to participate in a preparation process leading to the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation. This process includes catechesis focused on the sacrament, participation in parish ministry, community service, a pilgrimage, and a retreat.
Additionally, regular participation in a parish faith formation program or religion class at a Catholic high school is required. For information on how to register for our faith formation programs visit our faith formation page.
To be eligible: You must have at least two consecutive years of faith formation including the current year.

Confirmation Preparation – Catechesis Requirements
Getting Started
Teens must be registered for Confirmation and must first attend the Parent/Teen Overview before attending or signing up for any other component. The Parent/Teen Overview is a meeting for teens and one parent or guardian where we discuss the logistics of our Confirmation program as well as an introduction to Confirmation.
Each catechesis class needs to be completed at least once. Please sign up before attending. Spiritual Direction will open one month prior to Confirmation.
