Foundations of Faith (FOF)
Foundations of Faith (FOF) is a whole community approach to religious education available to every parish household. Before the pandemic our plan had been to meet for this program in person, however in light of our situation we will be offering FoF online instead. The program materials, including music, songs, lessons plans, and scripts for parents are available online making this an ideal program to do from home. Individual families can use this program on their own or groups of families can come together (either virtually or with social distancing within a parishioner home) to form a small faith community.
A Family Life Retreat day is scheduled for 1/31/21. Details will be available as we get closer to the date.
Children and Youth Program
Children & youth attend their grade-respective classes (pre-K through grade 12). Nursery care is available for infants & toddlers. Each evening concludes at 7:00 PM. As an intergenerational program, a parent/ guardian must accompany children to this program.
Our hope had been to offer concurrent adult break out options during Foundations of Faith. However, due to the need to change the format for Foundations of Faith from in-person to online for this year, there will not be an integrated adult component beyond the obvious participation of parents leading and learning with their children. We encourage those parents as well as adults without children to take advantage of the adult formation opportunities that are available during this time of social distancing. We are currently offering a weekly scripture study focusing on the readings for each upcoming weekend led by Deacon Kevin, a weekly Contemplative Prayer group that both meet through Zoom, as well as book studies and single session opportunities. For more information about these or other adult formation opportunities please email Brian McCrohan at email@example.com.

Scripture Study: The Sunday Readings (Facilitated by Deacon Kevin Kulesa)
Scripture study is offered as a small group opportunity throughout the year. It is designed for adults desiring to make time for scripture study in their busy lives. Participants are encouraged to spend twenty minutes per day in personal study utilizing a provided Study Guide and Commentary. This small group gathering is an opportunity to pray, share responses to the study questions, and reflect communally on the assigned readings. Multiple groups are available, held on a variety of days and times. One group is held during our TGIF Faith Formation program on Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:00PM
General Sessions & Adult Mini-Courses
For those who are interested in a small group in- depth study on particular topics pertinent to our faith, we offer our general sessions and our five session mini-courses over the winter. General session subjects are either single night topics or are covered over two, three, or four sessions. Past mini-courses have included Church History, Science and Religion, Dante’s Divine Comedy, Stress-Reduction for Catholics, Faith and Finance, Catholic Social Teaching, and many more. Our courses for this year are being arranged and we welcome ideas for topics and speakers. These general session nights and mini courses are held in conjunction with our TGIF Faith Formation Program on Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:00PM, but you are welcome to register attend a general session night or a mini-course even if you do not register for the full year of TGIF. Details regarding course topics and dates will be publicized as they approach.
