No Pressure. Just a Conversation.
Expressing interest in a ministry doesn’t commit you to anything. When you reach out, the ministry leader will simply connect with you to share more about what’s involved — meeting times, time commitment, any training needed — so you can make an informed decision about whether it’s the right fit.
If it’s not the right fit, that’s completely okay. There are over 40 ministries at SKD and we’ll help you find the one that’s right for you. Whenever you’re ready, we’re here!
On Response Times
Ministry leaders are volunteers just like you — they may take a few days to respond. Don't be discouraged!
On Time Commitment
Most ministries have flexible scheduling — many only ask for one commitment per month.

Before You Serve
VIRTUS Training & Child Protection
All volunteers at Saint Katharine Drexel are required to complete VIRTUS training before serving in any ministry. Some ministries that involve substantial contact with children or vulnerable populations require an additional training track. Your ministry leader will let you know which applies to you — and Carol Mull is always available to help.
