SACRAMENTS OF SERVICEThe Sacrament of Marriage
A Love That Reveals God
In the Sacrament of Marriage, spouses pledge to love one another not only with a human love, but with a divine love. This kind of love is faithful, unconditional, forgiving, and never-ending. When two people are able to love in this way, they make God present and real in our midst. Their life together becomes a sacrament — revealing God’s presence to those around them.
Our parish is happy to welcome both parishioners and non-parishioners to celebrate their weddings in our beautiful church.
Couples hoping to hold their wedding at Saint Katharine Drexel should contact the parish office at least six months before their hoped-for wedding date to inquire about the availability of the church and begin the preparation process.
