Scouting is a year-round program for boys and girls beginning at age 11 (or are at least 10 years old and have completed the fifth grade or have earned the Cub Scout Arrow of Light Award) and continues through age 17. The scouts grow in leadership as they plan and organize their own meetings and events with the help of their adult leaders. Troop 48 is a troop formed in September 2010 in conjunction with the Saint Katharine Drexel parish youth ministry. Our troop belongs to the National Capital Area Council, Francis Scott Key District. If you want more information about our troop or are interested in joining, email Deacon Jeff Sutterman.
