Become a Volunteer
Staff Contact: Rachel Murtha,
These three programs meet regularly throughout the school year. The brochure detailing our programs as well as the registration form are available below. You will also find information in the brochure about additional formation opportunities offered for children, youth, and adults.
The vibrant life of our parish and all of its ministries relies on each of our parishioners sharing their time and their talents in the community.
In an effort to help you make a prayerful and thoughtful decision about how you may be called to volunteer we would like to bring your attention to our Ministry Opportunities Guide. Here you will find a comprehensive listing of ministry opportunities organized by areas of parish life including information on who can volunteer, any special skills required, and descriptions of responsibilities and a note about Child & Youth Protection.
All volunteers must register through our online volunteer management system. Volunteers who will have substantial contact with children will require additional paperwork and training provided through our online system. For more information, click here.
After you have reviewed the opportunities to become involved, prayerfully reflected on your ability to commit time and talent to a ministry and discerned an appropriate match with parish needs, we would encourage you to complete a Time and Talent Form (one for entire family and return it to the parish office. We will forward your interest to the appropriate Ministry Leader who will be in touch regarding any additional information we may need and to answer any questions. If you have not heard from them within two weeks of returning your parish registration and Stewardship of Time & Talent form, please call the Parish Office at 301-360-9581 or email us at email@example.com. Thank you for your service in support of the mission of Saint Katharine Drexel.
